Creamy Beef Stroganoff

A comforting dish with tender beef strips in a rich, creamy mushroom sauce served over egg noodles.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- Butter and oil for cooking
Instructions
- 1. Cook egg noodles according to package directions.
- 2. Season beef with salt and pepper, then sear in batches until browned.
- 3. Sauté mushrooms and onions until soft.
- 4. Add garlic and flour, cook for 1 minute.
- 5. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly.
- 6. Return beef to pan and simmer until tender.
- 7. Stir in sour cream just before serving.
- 8. Serve over egg noodles.
